Limited Warranty

At Pinball Machines South Africa, we provide a flexible Limited Warranty ranging from 6 months to 3 years, depending on the product type, condition, and purchase agreement.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and does not replace any statutory consumer protections.


1. Warranty Coverage Period

Warranty duration depends on product category:

  • New Pinball Machines: Up to 3 Years Limited Warranty
  • Refurbished Pinball Machines: Up to 2 Years Limited Warranty
  • Used / Entry-Level Machines: Minimum 6 Months Limited Warranty

Coverage begins from the date of delivery to the customer.


2. What the Warranty Covers

Our Limited Warranty includes:

  • Telephone diagnosis and technical support
  • Repair or replacement of defective parts due to manufacturing faults
  • Electronic and mechanical component failures under normal use
  • Support for both new and refurbished machines

Labour Coverage

  • First service call labour included within the first 30 days after delivery, where applicable
  • Additional labour support may be included depending on warranty tier (6 months – 3 years)

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or abuse
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Machines moved or serviced without approval from Pinball Machines South Africa
  • Wear-and-tear parts (rubbers, bulbs, fuses, balls, etc.)
  • Cosmetic damage after delivery
  • Electrical damage from power surges or incorrect installation

4. Excluded Items & Conditions

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Machines manufactured prior to 1990
  • Machines used in commercial, rental, or public environments (unless agreed in writing)
  • Machines marked “as is” at time of sale
  • Non-standard accessories unless explicitly included

5. Coin Mechanisms

  • Coin mechanisms are not included unless stated
  • Coin systems are not covered under warranty

6. Warranty Conditions

To qualify for warranty support:

  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Machine must remain in its original installation location unless approved
  • All repairs must be authorized by Pinball Machines South Africa
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs may void warranty coverage

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Use and maintain the machine correctly
  • Ensure safe electrical connection and environment
  • Follow operating instructions
  • Report faults promptly for resolution

8. Warranty Support Process

If a fault occurs:

  1. Contact support team
  2. Provide machine details and description of issue
  3. Remote diagnosis will be performed
  4. Parts, repair, or service will be arranged if covered
