Pinball Machines South Africa Return Policy

At Pinball Machines South Africa, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa and outlines your rights and responsibilities when purchasing from us.

1. Pinball Machines and Arcade Equipment

Change of Mind Returns

Due to the size, specialized nature, and custom handling of pinball machines and arcade equipment, we do not accept returns for change of mind once an order has been delivered and accepted, unless otherwise required by law.

Defective or Faulty Products

Under the Consumer Protection Act, customers have the right to return defective or unsafe products within six (6) months of delivery.

If a product is found to be defective, customers may choose:

  • A repair

  • A replacement

  • A refund

provided the defect is not caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or accidental damage.

Special Orders and Custom Products

Products specially imported, customized, or ordered specifically for a customer may not be eligible for cancellation or refund once the order has been confirmed and processed, except where required by law.

Deposits

Deposits paid on special-order or preordered products are generally non-refundable once the order has been placed with the manufacturer or supplier. However, deposits may be transferred to another product at the discretion of Pinball Machines South Africa.

2. Accessories, Parts and Merchandise

Return Eligibility

Unused accessories, parts, and merchandise in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to inspection and approval.

Items must:

  • Be unused and undamaged

  • Include all original packaging

  • Include proof of purchase

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after inspection.

Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

3. Damaged or Defective Deliveries

Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers should inspect products immediately upon delivery.

Any visible shipping damage should:

  • Be noted on the delivery documentation

  • Be photographed

  • Be reported within 48 hours of delivery

Warranty Claims

Where applicable, we will work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to repair, replace, or resolve warranty-related issues.

4. Manufacturer Warranties

All new products include applicable manufacturer warranties.

Warranty coverage, duration, and exclusions vary by manufacturer and product.

Pinball Machines South Africa does not provide warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer or those required under South African law.

5. Preorders

Preorder deposits secure production allocations and inventory.

If a manufacturer permanently cancels production of a product, customers will be entitled to:

  • A full refund of the deposit; or

  • Transfer of the deposit to another product.

Production delays beyond our control do not automatically qualify for cancellation or refund.

6. Delivery Refusals

Customers who refuse delivery without a valid legal reason may be liable for:

  • Return freight costs

  • Storage fees

  • Administrative charges

Any deductions will be disclosed before processing any applicable refund.
